These are full members that are allowed one (1) vote at the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). Representatives must be members for 2 years before they are eligible to be the President of THAG. The categories are:
Any companies involved in the tourism industries which are directly or indirectly associated with the regular members in their business operations, such as furniture manufacturers and suppliers, banks, security companies and the like.
This category also includes any student currently enrolled in a secondary or tertiary institution.
This is a non-voting category.
Benefits:
Any Indigenous community in tourism that invites tourists to experience their culture, food, interpretation and activities.
Each member in this category is eligible for one (1) vote.
The category facilitates an organization (s) serving as holders and or representing multiple tourism, hospitality and affiliated operations.
The group will be eligible for one (1)vote and a listing of the facilities represented at the start of each financial year.
This category includes any international tour operator selling inbound tours to Guyana.
Each member in this category is eligible for one (1) vote and afforded a single listing in the publication.
The category recognizes regional tourism and hospitality enterprises and partners within that geographical space.
The group shall appoint one (1) representative to be eligible to cast one (1) vote on their behalf at the Annual General Meeting and in any other business of the Association.
The RDMMO has to provide a listing of financial lodgings and partners for representation through the Association at the start of each financial year.
Benefits:
This category includes any standalone tourism business such as small hotels, restaurants, tour operators, domestic air carriers, bars, transportation providers, travel agencies, tourism consultants and gift and craft shops.
Each member in this category is eligible for one (1) vote and afforded a single listing in the publication.
This category includes any tourism business with operations offering other services such accommodation, tour operators, domestic, bars, transportation providers, travel agencies, tourism consultants and gift and craft shops. etc.
Each member in this category is eligible for one (1) vote and afforded two (2) listings in theExplore Guyana Magazine.
This category includes international air carriers and any large accommodation services as hotels of100+ rooms.
Each member in this category is eligible for one (1) vote and three(3) listing of services.
