The Guyana Wildlife Conservation and Management Commission has announced the following closed seasons for certain mammals, birds, and reptiles. During these periods, trapping, hunting, wounding, killing, transporting, or selling these species is strictly prohibited. Violators may face fines and imprisonment for up to three years.
