On August 27th, the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG) hosted a Food & Beverage Service Workshop, made possible through a collaboration with Catalyste+ and the generous support of the Ramada Georgetown Princess Hotel.
The workshop gathered participants from various organizations, all eager to refine their skills in the art of food and beverage service. The comprehensive training covered essential areas, including techniques for engaging with customers, mastering table service, the correct presentation and pouring of wine, and enhancing service skills for cocktail events.
Attendees left with a deeper understanding of what it takes to deliver top-notch service, gaining practical knowledge and actionable techniques they can now implement within their own organizations. This workshop marked a valuable step forward in advancing hospitality standards across Guyana’s food and beverage industry.
