THAG President Mr. Mitra Ramkumar, alongside members Fantasy Destination Tours, Ride Along GY, Trailmasters Adventure Tours, Outdoor Expeditions, and GTA Director Mr. Kamrul Baksh, visited the Indian Monument Gardens, managed by the Indian Commemoration Trust (ICT).

The group was welcomed by Mr. Vishal Roopnaraine (Public Relations Officer), Dr. Shaw (Researcher/Writer), and the ICT team. Members explored key features of the Gardens, including the Replica of the Whitby, Kalkota Monument, Honour Wall, and historic logie, gaining deeper appreciation for the stories that shaped Guyana’s history.

The visit highlighted the Gardens’ strong potential for inclusion in Georgetown city tours, including specialised Indian Indentureship heritage tours starting from the Kingston Foreshore.
