THAG served once again as a support business partner for the International Business Conference (IBC) 2025, held at the Guyana Marriott Hotel.

In collaboration with the Suriname Hospitality & Tourism Association (SHATA)—with whom THAG signed an MoU earlier this year—and the Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA), the organisations shared a joint booth promoting regional tourism and the Three Guianas Initiative.

On Day 3 of the conference, THAG President Mr. Mitra Ramkumar joined Mr. Kamrul Baksh (GTA Director), Mrs. Andrea de Caires (Evergreen Adventures), and Mr. Egon von Foidl (Chairman, SHATA) for a panel discussion titled “Tourism & Regional Positioning in a Diversified Economy.” Moderated by H.E. Jane Miller OBE, the session explored tourism’s role in national revenue, investment, regional airlift, SME empowerment, and sustainable destination development.
