Arrowpoint Nature Resort is named after the many arrow trees found in the area, which are used by the Amerindians to make their arrows for hunting. The resort itself is set against the backdrop of the rainforest, which is a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers since there is an abundance of wildlife, including 350 species of birds. There is also a maze of jungle trails used for nature walks and mountain biking. In the foreground is a stretch of white sandy beach sloping gently into the refreshing, cool black waters of the Pokerero Creek.
